British winemaking at its best

You'll be amazed at the skill, effort and experience it takes to produce a quality wine. Enjoy a tour of the vineyard including how vines are grown on a commercial scale; history of the vineyard; winemaking in the UK and the history of the estate.

You will also learn about the winemaker's art during a tour of the winery. Following this will typically be a chance to taste several of the wines available on the day and then sit down to a cold buffet lunch. On conclusion you will be presented with a bottle of complimentary wine per couple as a souvenir of your winery visit.

Programmes vary depending on the location.

When can you go?
Selected dates, generally May to October (some venues are available throughout the year). Valid until 1st December 2012.

How long does this activity last?
Your time at the vineyard will be about 2 to 4 hours.

You need to know:

• To participate in this activity you must be at least 18 years old.
• You will need to have a general fitness as there is some walking involved.
• No qualifications or experience are required for this activity.
• This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.
