It's a special gift, one that makes investigator Makoto Midorikawa a unique and invaluable asset for the Metropolitan Police Force. Unfortunately, it can also get Makoto involved in things far beyond the scope of normal police work. When he touches a ring worn by the sole survivor of a catastrophic explosion, the memories unleashed launch him into a deadly game of cat and mouse against a massive worldwide conspiracy. With the aid of an amnesiac young woman, Makoto must solve the secrets surrounding a mysterious laboratory, its experiments with a dangerous substance called "Exotic Matter", and the dark forces that intend to use those powers to unleash a global nightmare in INGRESS!
