Daphne Pegg, finding herself disappointed in love, walks out on her non-relationship with her boss in Bolton and relocates to London. While she is on her way to start her new life, newly divorced antiques dealer Roland Moody has also decided to make the same move. Moody and Pegg was penned by noted television writers Julia Jones and Donald Churchill (Armchair Theatre, The Duchess of Duke Street), and stars Judy Cornwell (Keeping Up Appearances) as disillusioned civil servant Daphne and Derek Waring (Z-Cars) as the determinedly carefree Roland. Peter Denyer (Please, Sir!), Terence Alexander (Bergerac) and Tony Selby (Get Some In!) also appear in this cleverly scripted, bittersweet comedy-drama from 1974.
