Holden McNeil (Ben Affleck) and Banky Edwards (Jason Lee) are two comic book artists who are rapidly moving their way up in the comic book industry. Everything is going well for them until they meet Alyssa (Joey Lauren). Holden soon falls madly in love with her but to his frustration later finds out she is a lesbian. Soon enough Holden’s predicament starts to affect his work and begins to put pressure on his relationship with Banky.
