Impact Protection System - a full length shock absorption system utilising blown EVA provides additional cushioning.
Flex Tech - Revolutionary new system from Gray-Nicolls which provides lightweight lateral arch cushioning enabling the multiple bones in the foot the necessary flexibility, yet providing the full support required for weight bearing.
Dual Density Midsole - Pro-DD is a system consisiting of two densities of the midsole material, strategically positioned to reduce the effects of over pronation, which improves natural foot movement.
Weight - The optimum is Gray-Nicolls lightest shoe to date, almost 25 gsm lighter than previous models. Approx weight for size 9 is 450gsm.
Upper - Extremely breathable ballistic Airmesh upper for maximum ventilation combined with dynamic support system. The upper offers the ideal blend of comfort and support, ensuring greater stability and reducing the risk of injury.
ProZone Last - New improved last gives the Optimum shoe its sleek profile and improved cosmetics. The ProZone last ensures the shoe fits much closer to the foot providing the ultimate fit and performance.
Classic Rubber pimple heel option provides comfort and grip.

Midfoot torsion section provides stability.
