Acclaimed director Joel Schumacher (Falling Down, The Lost Boys) brings this epic tale of war and the battles out of the battlefield as well as on it. After being released from base stockade, young recruit Roland Bozz (Colin Farrell) is transferred and joins a platoon of young soldiers who are preparing to ship out to Vietnam. Upon arriving Roland clashes with the commanding officers and earns no respect from the men he is about to lead into war. When they are shipped to Tigerland, a brutal training camp preparing them for war, they must pull together and follow Roland’s orders if they want to make it out of Vietnam alive. Can Roland earn their respect and will they have his back on the battlefield?
